Public Service Announcement
We are programmed to draw and mimic sounds from dot-matrix printers.
We eat everything that's blue and we represent Cubao in all its grime and beauty.
We are deployed to harmoniously invade outdoor or indoor space. Our main mission is to make a space/surface interesting rather than just leaving a mark.
We don't work overtime. We do take a break.
We need not deploy when there's no mission.
We never forget our main mission.
Graffiti, street art, public/urban art or just plain vandalism, you be the judge.
We communicate through this medium. We were built that way.

instant success
Prolog:
I remember way back when I got this tag board message from a certain Gene Starship giving props and sending out a link of his myspace site. I was blown away by the amount of work he has done. Flipped through an old street inspired art book and there he was. I remember seeing a jeepney design in one of those paintings he gots there. I asked him via email if hes filipino and he said yes. I was glad that an establish artist away from the Philippines is reppin' pinoys. When he told me he's goin to Manila for a short visit I thought to myself to show him a slice of what filipino's has to offer with regards to live painting. That's where the idea of Instantinopol popped out.
Epilog:
Thanks to alla you who made the Instantinopol gathering a success. It was the first time I did instigate something like this and I really did'nt know what to expect on the night itself. Basta rakenrol na lang.
To all the instant peeps who were happy to oblige in participating, helping out and the peeps who turn up for the event, Maraming salamat!
Pablo for being a gracious host for the event, Jigger of Lockeddown Entertainment for helping out with the live music, Tito ArbieWon & Diego "Eggboy" Mapa for our live umpukan soundz, of course Mofo PilipinasStreetPlan Crew and Weewill"def-nitely"doodle Crew for showcasing them live art.
To our special guest that night our Filipino connection via Montreal, HVW8 productions' Gene Starship, yo G! We had a blast. Thanks for gracing the event and for reppin' pinoy in whatever you do man. You've inspired our fellow filipino artists in doing so.
